Proof of life: grin-DING!

PROOF OF LIFE: This week I was 6% pitch deck planetkiller, 23% Kickstarter dream fulfiller, 16% convention prepper 10% Australian stock paperwork wrestler, 43% artist 3% Dad (my guy is with his mom) 2% Steiner mathamatician and 100% making CEO moves with mail room moxy.

This week I:

• grinded on a bunch of unsexy LLC paperwork on TWIN STAR. Making a comic book company is a lot of unsexy stuff, folks. 

• hit a bunch pf Secret Coffee Club mornings (9am gang, what’s up 🙏)
• tried to no longer eat like an 18 year old linebacker. Guys, it sucks.
• worked for a New Zealand tech company awhile back. They gave me kiwi stocks which I thought were like Disney dollars but turns out they are actual worth real money! Like a lot. (btw I loved working at Xero. Those kids know whats up). That said wrestling with this Australian stock company MUFG’s  paperwork like it’s a side quest from Elden Ring.
• prepped for [at] CAPEANDCOWL CON chaos (prints, stickers, booth stuff, possibly a CONVENTION CHAMPION belt)
• missed my kiddo. We got his school pic though and that made me happy. Handsome like his Daddy that guy. I also made a doc to plot out what we want to accomplish this year. At some point I became a document psycho. It works tho.
•  read some comics.  The Hickman Avengers. Absolute Superman. There’s a Noah Van Scier book I missed so I’m tracking that one down.

• watched Alien Earth, Peaky Blinders and the tragically awful Pam Anderson art film The Last Showgirl. I had high hopes. Alas. 

It’s a lot. Grinding on comics, getting TWIN STAR into a fully armed and operational battle station, while keeping the lights on with brand design stuff…some days I’m  ther days I’m a broken MUFG email chain But: I showed up. I stayed sober. I made things. I parented. I hustled paperwork. I put some love into the world.

(And if anyone knows how to sell Xero stocks without summoning a demon broker, hmu.)
